Canal Danger

I don’t know about you but some of the things parents do might be to protect you but really.
So i live on a canal and I’ve live her for lets say 3 months and i go for swims in. About 4 days ago i went fishing in there and to my surprise i catch a fish and it is a Cobia and apparently that’s rare. Now people are telling me they are ocean fish and they follow sharks and that i shouldn’t go swimming in there that there are sharks in there and all this stuff.
Then at the bridge down the canal these old people start saying they saw 2 15m bull sharks just cruzing under the bridge i mean really?. Two 15m bull sharks are swimming up a canal that is 20m wide and has a dead end. 30m down from the bridge straight ahead no turns.
